Pack Meetings:

Cub scouts in the Pack normally meet the 1st Monday of the month of the school year.  These meetings begin at 6:30 and last for at least one hour at Johns Creek United Methodist Church. You are welcome to come a little earlier and we may run a little longer.  We publish our calendar for the year in August.

Den Meetings:

Your cub scout will join a cub scout Den of 5 to 16 kids in the same grade.  This cub scout Den meets once or twice per month at a cub scout’s home or at an interesting site in our area.  The cub scout Den Leader will work with the parents to coordinate a good meeting time/location for the Den.

Special Events:

We have an active schedule that allows you and your child to participate as your schedule permits. We go camping each fall and spring. In the winter we take a Big Trip to an exciting location within a few hours of us. Recent trips have included: the USS Yorktown aircraft carrier in Charleston, the US Space Center in Huntsville, the Atlanta Zoo, and cave camping in Tennessee.  We also host great local events, including a Pinewood Derby event each January and Rocket Day in either September . Both of these are a lot of fun for everyone!

Volunteer-Led, Family Focus:

Another wonderful aspect of our pack is that we are family-centered. We invite parents and siblings to participate in our events. We encourage great family time and the making of family memories. Cub Scouts is a volunteer organization, and all families should volunteer to help with something during the year. For this reason, there are a large range of opportunities for all walks of life. You can serve as a Den Leader, join a Pack Committee, plan a campout, and more. Parents are encouraged to help out their Den Leaders with Den Meetings.

Kids love the activities! Cub Scouts provides lots of opportunities to help your kids on the road to becoming responsible adults. Cub Scouts also gives kids an opportunity to learn important life skills. Leadership, communication, as well as comraderie are built into our Cub Scouts. Cub Scouts try new activities, which they may not have had the chance to experience through school and sports.

Don’t miss out on something truly special.  Be a part of your child’s life by joining Cub Scouts!
